About us

The Bere Regis Congregational Church is based in the Dorset village of Bere Regis. The influence of this Church (sometimes referred to as The Chapel) in the village can be traced back to 1662 and elsewhere on this site you can read about our history in more detail.

Our fellowship is made up of ordinary people who have been brought into a living relationship with God through the Lord Jesus Christ. We come from all walks of life and different backgrounds.  Yet In our 10.30 am Sunday Worship we enjoy meeting together to express our corporate love and worship for God and share fellowship with one another. We also provide a variety of mid week Christian meetings and activities to cater for most age groups. Here are some of our current groups:

Mums & Toddlers Group - Tuesdays from 9.30-11.30am in the Chapel
Bible Study Fellowship - Tuesday from 7.30-9.15pm - discussional study of scripture & prayer in the Manse
Occasional Men's Prayer Breakfasts - Saturdays from 8.00-10.00am held in various homes

You are welcome to come and join with us on a Sunday, whether you have a faith or no faith at all – a warm welcome awaits you. And if any of the midweek groups seem to fit a member of your family – why not come along and find out more?
